Saorview is available to most homes in Ireland free of charge via an aerial.

The aerial can generally be placed in the attic or else externally.
It can be distributed to as many TVs as you want in the house.
English free to air channels are available without subscribtion via a satellite dish. Your old Sky dish can be used if the LNB is changed. Most TVs have a satellite conection. A combo box is also available that combines the aerial and satellite and allows you to pause and record.
