4G External aerial

An external aerial picks up a 4G signal,  (the same signal your phone uses to access the internet), this is then mounted as high as possible generally facing the nearest mast. A cable goes from the aerial into the house and connects to a router. This has a sim card of your choice in it. I will advise you on which company and package to get, but the on going top ups or contract is your responsibility.

After a speed test outside your house, with all networks, you can decide if it is good enough to go ahead with installation. If you decide not to go ahead there is no fee. Payment is made on day of installation. I recommend you to use as many devices as you think you might ever use at the one time during several evenings over the first 14 days. Also do speed tests. At the end of the 2 weeks if you decide it is not sufficient for your needs I will uninstall the equipment and give a full refund.

As reception and broadband speed is very dependent on location and other factors such as other peoples usage in the area, there can be no guarantees of a minimum speed. However if you are generally between 10 and 20 Mbps in the evening, it should be more that sufficient for an average family's use. Netflix recommend 3 Mbps, Zoom requires 1.5 Mbps. I have tested video streaming a combination of Netflix, YouTube and RTE Player on 5 devices (TV, laptop, phones) without any problems at 20 Mbps. Speeds are generally higher during quiet times such as the morning.
